About Us
Rooted in the Kurmanji word for tree, Dara symbolizes growth grounded in purpose – a reminder that lasting impact begins with strong roots: trust, alignment, and shared vision.
At Dara Advisory, we help organizations move from intention to implementation – bridging purpose and performance by aligning strategy with story, and systems with trust. Because impact shouldn’t just be promised – it should be proven.
Our work sits at the intersection of corporate, philanthropic, and public systems, helping leaders design credible strategies that build trust and deliver measurable outcomes. Whether embedding reconciliation frameworks across Indigenous communities, scaling youth programs, advancing mental health access, or strengthening refugee inclusion, our results turn commitments into measurable community change.
Like the branches of a tree, our approach extends across sectors – cultivating the partnerships and infrastructure that allow people, ideas, and communities to flourish.

What Sets Us Apart
We bridge strategy and humanity – combining corporate precision with community wisdom to create impact that endures.
Our Founder, Jamileh Naso, is a strategic communications and ESG leader whose work has advanced equity, well-being, and belonging across Canada and internationally. Her experience spans mental health, Indigenous reconciliation, youth empowerment, and refugee inclusion – bridging the priorities of corporations, foundations, and governments to turn commitments into measurable, people-centered impact.
Jamileh has scaled national youth programs, secured multi-million-dollar philanthropic investments, and embedded governance and reconciliation frameworks across more than 180 communities. She has built coalitions uniting public, private, and community partners – advancing national mental health initiatives, reconciliation outcomes, and gender-equity programs that are both scalable and sustainable.
At the policy level, she has advised on Canada’s first structural genocide investigation, contributed to national refugee and family reunification policy, and led international advocacy for the recognition of the Yazidi Genocide. Her coalition-building has shaped dialogue on Middle East and North Africa minority protection through high-level engagements with the United Nations, the U.S. Congress, and global human rights networks.
Her contributions have been recognized through the King Charles III Coronation Medal, the Winnipeg 150 Medal, and multiple humanitarian and leadership awards for advancing reconciliation, inclusion, and community partnership.
As a former refugee who rebuilt her life in Canada, Jamileh brings a lived understanding of resilience and belonging – and an unwavering belief that relationships are the foundation of lasting impact.
These experiences inform Dara Advisory’s ability to help clients translate commitments into credible strategies – whether developing frameworks that resonate with communities, securing cross-sector partnerships that deliver measurable results, or crafting narratives that strengthen trust and reputation.
